Did you Find a Lost Dog?
Here are the steps on what to do if you found a stay dog.
1. Check for tags and phone numbers.
2. Have the dog checked for a chip, go to a local Veterinarian Clinic or the the Nacodoches Animal Shelter.
3. Post the dog on lost and found sites.
4. Contact your local Animal Shelter
5. Contact local Veterinarian Clinics.
You are thinking of rehoming your dog?
Do you have a dog you need to rehome? If you are interested in Nac Foster Rescue accepting your dog into our rescue certain items must be done.
If you are just needing assistance with spay/neuter, vet visit, heartworm medication or testing, please contact the Nacogoches Humane Society of Nacogdoches.
What is the first step?
First thing to do when thinking of rehoming your dog is to:
Have your dog Heartworm tested
Have your dog current on all vaccination with records as proof
Have a basic vet visit with your record as proof
Have a fecal test done to check for parasites or worms
Second Step:
Please send all records and information concerning your pet you are rehoming to Nacfosterrescue@gmail.com.
Third Step:
If contacted by a NFR board member that your dog has been accepted into our recuse please fill out the Surrender document below and email to Nacfosterrescue@gmail.com
